Overview
Together AI acquired CodeSandbox in December 2024 and relaunched its microVM infrastructure as Together Code Sandbox in May 2025. It inherits years of experience running browser-based development environments: memory-snapshot starts, hibernation that restores exact state, and fast cloning.
New integrations use the together-sandbox SDK; the original @codesandbox/sdk is maintained for existing users. Access is enabled through Together’s sales team.
